Responsibilities
1. Serve as the central point of contact for national and international clients and colleagues regarding direct tax accounting issues.
2. Lead tax audits for international groups and single legal entities in Switzerland, working closely with the assurance team to ensure high-quality audits.
3. Assist clients in managing their tax functions by optimizing processes, providing tax technical insights, and implementing innovative solutions.
4. Develop your expertise in BEPS Pillar 2 and support the team in evaluating the tax implications for audit and advisory clients, leveraging your knowledge to provide valuable insights.
5. Oversee established client accounts with a focus on technical excellence and the continuous enhancement of existing processes.
6. Take charge of your client portfolio with full responsibility for resourcing, budgeting, delivery, and growth, ensuring exceptional service and continuous development.
7. Be an integral part of our multicultural team, supporting the growth and development of your colleagues through effective coaching and leadership.
Skills and attributes for success
8. 5 to 7 years of experience in Tax Accounting and/or Tax Audit functions or aparable position, preferably in an international setting.
9. Demonstrate a solid understanding of accounting and tax reporting concepts, along with technical expertise in international reporting frameworks such as US GAAP and/or IFRS.
10. Have experience in designing and executing tax functions for multinationalpanies. Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)pliance is a plus.
11. Show strong project management skills and an open mindset are essential
12. Proficiency in English is required; German is considered as a plus
