Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.
Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has three locations: Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe; the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing; and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center in the UK, which will be operational this year. Our Power Unit is developed in Neuburg, while Hinwil focuses on chassis development and race operations.

This position for the Audi F1 Project is based at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).
Your mission
1. Research and development in wind tunnel and test object technologies (sensors, robotics, measurement technology, actuators, control, monitoring, calibration).
2. Realisation, support, and system integration of retrofit and new construction projects for wind tunnel system development.
3. Development and integration of wind tunnel system software and control software.
4. Calculation and evaluation of measurement data (sensor data from wind tunnel & test objects, calibrations, and technical metrology).
5. Leading sub-projects within interdisciplinary teams.
Your profile
* Bachelor's or Master's degree (ETH/FH) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, automation, or equivalent experience.
* Several years of professional experience in electro-mechanical systems development in mechanical or plant engineering.
* Knowledge of programming languages and databases.
* Experience in project management.
* Proficiency in English; German skills are an advantage.
