About the Role
As a Software Engineer / Architect (Microsoft Power Apps), you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining a wide range of applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. You'll collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into efficient, scalable solutions. Your expertise will empower the organization to streamline processes, automate workflows, and enhance data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop Power Apps solutions: Create custom applications, dashboards, and portals tailored to specific business requirements.
* Architect scalable solutions: Design and implement robust architectures that ensure the performance, security, and maintainability of Power Apps applications.
* Integrate with other systems: Connect Power Apps with other Microsoft services (e.g., Dynamics 365, SharePoint) and external systems using APIs and connectors.
* Automate workflows: Leverage Power Automate to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.
* Analyze and visualize data: Utilize Power BI to create interactive reports and dashboards that provide valuable insights.
* Provide technical guidance: Mentor and support other team members on Power Platform best practices and development techniques.
Requirements
* Education and Experience:
o A strong foundation in computer science or a related field.
o Proven experience in designing and developing applications using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
o Experience with data modelling, integration, and visualization using Power BI or similar tools.
o Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
* Technical Skills:
o Deep understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform architecture and components.
o Proficiency in Power Apps formulas, expressions, and controls.
o Experience with data sources and connectors (e.g., SharePoint, SQL Server, Dataverse).
o Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for customization.
