As Innovation Process Technician (100%), you will have responsibility in the planning, developing and optimizing of water treatment processes and sustainable products.

The role is based in Witterswil, Solothurn (Basel Area), Switzerland, with good public transport connection (Tram 10) and free car parking.
How you'll make an impact:
1. Support in developing water treatment processes and sustainable products
2. Work independently with treatment processes at pilot scale
3. Handle process optimization projects including planning, execution and presentation of results
4. Hands-on work, such as installation on hydraulic facilities and implementation of prototypes
5. Work with water/chemicals, mechanical tools, electro-mechanics, process analyzers, control and automation
Qualifications:
6. Education in chemical production or as chemical laboratory technician, or a bachelor’s degree in Science (preferably Chemical Process Engineering)
7. Professional experience (3–5 years), preferably in water or wastewater treatment
8. Enjoy diverse tasks and hands-on work in technical labs/workshops/chemical labs
9. Self-initiative and creativity, flexible and able to work under pressure
10. Mobility and willingness to travel worldwide, including extended trips
11. Strong team-oriented working capability and excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal international departments, suppliers and customers
12. English proficiency for daily business; German, French or other languages are an added value
13. Swiss or EU citizenship or a C Swiss resident permit
