Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python).
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
Experience building training/evaluation sets for a frontier LLM or building agentic harnesses.

As part of the Operations Research group, you will build technology to solve optimization problems of the world and of Alphabet and Google in particular. Your team consists of Software Engineers and Research Scientists with expertise in optimization and machine learning techniques. You will help us bring this technology to billions of users by making it available through Gemini.

Improve developer workflows with optimization agents.
Explore new surfaces to democratize optimizations.
