Job Description
1. Drive new business acquisition in our portfolio of products including management system certification (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, etc.), while developing and expanding selected existing accounts
2. Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through a mix of proactive prospecting and inbound opportunities
3. Manage the full sales cycle, from lead qualification and needs analysis to proposal, negotiation, and closing
4. Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within selected existing clients to grow wallet share
5. Develop trusted relationships with decision-makers, enabling initial wins and ensuring high levels of customer retention and future business potential
6. Represent SGS at industry events, trade fairs, and networking platforms to generate both new leads and strengthen market presence
7. Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast, and activity tracking in Salesforce (CRM)
8. Collaborate closely with the subregional Sales/Business Development Managers and operational teams to convert opportunities and deliver value to clients
Qualifications
9. Strong track record in B2B sales with a focus on new business development, ideally within Business Assurance or TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification)
10. Ability to combine commercial drive with a consultative, trust-based selling approach
11. Credible and professional presence, with the ability to engage stakeholders
12. Structured, reliable, and quality-oriented working style
13. Fluent German (C1) and good, professional level English (B2)
14. Willingness to travel and engage regularly with clients across the country
