Senior ai product analyst (f/m/d) 100%

Zürich
Inserat online seit: 27 Januar
Beschreibung

Help shape what's next for the industry - with Orderfox.

Turn data into product decisions that move manufacturing forward.

Manufacturing is full of data. But very little of it actually decides anything. At Orderfox, we’re changing that.

We’re building AI agents that don’t just analyse manufacturing data - they act on it: They shortlist suppliers, surface hidden capacity, challenge incumbents, and help industrial companies make faster, better decisions.

To do this, we need more than dashboards. We need someone who understands how data becomes intelligence.
That’s where you come in.

As a Senior AI Product Analyst, you sit at the heart of our AI platform. Your job isn’t to report on the product - it’s to shape what the product can do. You own the data foundations that make our AI agents smart: what we know about manufacturers, how that knowledge is structured, and how agents reason over it to create real outcomes. You’ll work hands-on with data, close to the product, and directly with our CTO and AI Product Director. This is not a support function. It’s a builder role.

AI isn’t a feature at Orderfox. It’s how we operate.

What you'll make happen

You design the language of manufacturing intelligence.

* You define and extend the manufacturing ontology that powers Gieni’s AI agents: companies, facilities, machines, processes, materials, certifications, capacities - and the relationships that make them meaningful.
* You break workflows down into “data atoms”: what information an agent actually needs to shortlist prospects (spindle RPM, axis count, tonnage, certifications, geography). What signals matter to displace an incumbent supplier (OEM brand, machine age, utilisation signals).
* You build and evolve the knowledge graph (Neo4j) that grounds our agents in structured, queryable manufacturing intelligence.
* You drive vertical expansion: taking what works for CNC machining and identifying what’s different for injection moulding, sheet metal, or additive manufacturing.
* You hunt down missing data - and solve for it: via third-party sources, API integrations, extensions to our crawling platform, or ML-based inference where direct data doesn’t exist.
* You define what “success” means for agent workflows and track it with telemetry (Langsmith, PostHog) to understand what’s working - and what isn’t.
Your output isn’t a report. It’s capability.

What eases your start

You’re not just data-literate - you’re AI-native.

* You have 5+ years of experience in product analytics, data science, or similar roles in B2B SaaS or AI-driven environments.
* Claude Code, Cursor, and agentic workflows are how you think - not experiments you’ve tried once.
* You understand how AI agents work: tools, reasoning loops, grounding, context windows - and you design for them.
* You’re strong in SQL and Python and build things yourself.
* You’re comfortable with knowledge graphs, ontology design, and semantic data models.
* You’ve worked with the Azure stack (Fabric, Synapse, OneLake, Azure ML, AI Search).
* You have strong product instinct: data is a means to an outcome, not the outcome itself.
* You thrive in ambiguity: fast-moving start-up contexts, evolving requirements, and full ownership bring out your best work.
* You are a Swiss, EU, or EFTA citizen, or already hold a valid Swiss work permit, and are able to work on-site in Zurich. Full-time remote work is not possible. Applications from non-EU/EFTA citizens without a valid Swiss work permit cannot be considered due to regulatory restrictions.
You'll stand out if you bring:
* Manufacturing or industrial domain experience
* Experience with embeddings, hybrid search, or vector operations
* Data procurement experience or work with external data sources
This role demands more than technical skill - it demands judgement. You’ll constantly decide:
* what data matters now versus later,
* when “good enough” beats perfect,
* and how to turn incomplete signals into usable intelligence.
You’ll need curiosity, backbone, and the confidence to challenge assumptions - including your own.
This won’t be the right fit if…
* You prefer clearly defined specifications over open problems.
* You enjoy reporting on products more than shaping them.
* You want to work fully remotely (this role is Zurich-based).
* You’re looking for a slow-moving, highly structured environment.

What you can look forward to

* An inspiring location: Our Zurich HQ is in the historic Villa Windegg in Seefeld - right by the lake and just minutes from Stadelhofen station, with parks, cafés, and cultural spots nearby.
* Flexibility that fits: A 42-hour flexitime week with regular office days, home-office options, and the opportunity to work up to 20 days a year from abroad.
* A team that moves fast: Join a ~30-person international start-up where initiative, ownership, and quick decisions matter more than hierarchy.
* Work with purpose: Contribute to intelligent AI solutions that help industries solve real-world challenges.
* Benefits that support you: 25 vacation days, additional local holidays, full salary continuation during maternity, paternity, and military leave, plus modern workspaces, snacks, and evolving extras as we grow.
