Senior Risk Analyst Commodity Trade Finance
For our client a well-established Investment Bank we are currently looking for a Senior Risk Analyst Commodity Trade Finance to join their Zurich Office.
We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Senior profile to join a dynamic Risk Management team. As a Senior Risk Analyst you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the bank. Your responsibilities
* Risk Assessment : Perform comprehensive risk analysis including evaluating the financial health and stability of commodity traders. Prepare risk recommendations to advise credit committee on credit requests based on risk assessments financial analysis the banks risk tolerance and the internal guidelines and credit policies
* Transaction Structuring : Provide advice and analyze and determine appropriate transaction structures for commodity trade finance deals
* Portfolio Monitoring : Monitor the performance and credit quality of the commodity trade finance portfolio incl. periodic reviews
* Fostering Best Practices and Training : Act as a mentor and coach to less experienced team members involved in transactions and credit files providing guidance and sharing knowledge
Your profile & required qualifications
* University degree in Economics or Finance
* Excellent knowledge in Financial analysis (a first experience in a big 4 is a )
* 5 years experience in a credit department of a bank active in Trade Finance
* Excellent knowledge of Commodity Trading and related problematics
* Ability to draft concise financial analysis
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* English fluent German orFrench a
* University degree in Finance Economics Management supplemented by a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional skills enhancement or equivalent
* At least 10 years professional experience in a financial institution with minimum 5 years as Risk analyst
* Deep Expertise in Commodity Trade Finance with extensive practical experience and in-depth knowledge of the intricate workings of Commodity Trade Finance.
* Demonstrated ability to perform meticulous risk assessments of CTF clients and transactions considering market risks counterparty risks commodity price volatility collateral quality and transaction structure risks.
* Possess strong financial analysis skills enabling the assessment of financial statements and cash flow projections and an understanding of commodity market trends.
* Display a proactive mature and reliable personality consistently demonstrating self-initiative and a drive for innovative solutions
* Exhibit excellent communication and presentation abilities effectively conveying complex information to diverse stakeholders
* Capable of thinking creatively and objective while. exhibiting efficiency and effectiveness despite demanding workloads and time pressure
* Ability to work under pressure manage own goals and goals of the Risk department set priorities accordingly and deliver top quality in time
* Dedicated and responsible personality strong leader and at the same time a real team player
* Independent solution-oriented structured well organized persistent persevering
* Swiss / EU citizen (mandatory) fluent in German and English (corporate language). French would be a
