The Role
As Field CFO, you are the finance executive who carries real-world CFO credibility into the market. You sit alongside prospects and customers as a strategic advisor, speaking the language of the finance leaders we sell to, and you translate between those buyers and our product and company. You're equally at home in an enterprise sales cycle, a product roadmap discussion, and a go-to-market planning session. This is not our operational finance role; it's an outward-facing, market-shaping seat for someone who has lived the CFO job and wants to redefine how finance teams work.
What you'll do
Help prospects understand business cases, ROI, finance transformation, and operating models.
Act as a strategic advisor during enterprise sales cycles, lending finance leadership credibility to customer conversations.
Translate between CFO buyers and the product and company, ensuring each understands the other.
Help shape go-to-market messaging, pricing, and product direction from a finance executive perspective.
Promote Aderis across Switzerland and the broader DACH market, representing us with finance leaders, peers, and the community.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product to turn frontline finance insight into a sharper product and a stronger market position.
What we're looking for
A strong CFO-level finance background : a Wirtschaftsprüfer, CPA, or equivalent qualification, ideally combined with Big4 audit experience serving SMEs and/or operational CFO experience .
Credibility with finance leaders: you've been in the room as a CFO or senior finance executive and can hold a peer-level conversation with any CFO.
A consultative, commercially minded approach; you understand sales cycles and how to advise without selling.
The ability to translate between finance, product, and go-to-market audiences.
Professional proficiency in German and English (both required given our current customer base).
Comfort in an early-stage, high-ownership environment where the playbook is still being written.
Nice to have
Direct experience as an operational CFO in a Swiss or German mid-market company.
Familiarity with DACH finance, tax, and compliance frameworks (MWST, GoBD, GeBüV, Quellensteuer).
Experience advising on or leading finance transformation and ERP/system change.
An established network within the Swiss and DACH finance community.
