PpBe part of a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by developing strategic accounts with the Fortune 2000. This is an opportunity to be a driver in AWS's further representation as a key technology platform provider. /ppAs an Sr. Account Manager Greenfield Enterprise you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market saturation in F2000 accounts, with a large emphasis on accounts with high growth potential. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. They should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets. /ppIn this role, you will represent the entire portfolio of AWS products and services across the strategic accounts you manage within the Enterprise customer market segment. Join us and help us grow. /ph3Key job responsibilities /h3ulliDrive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical /liliMeet or exceed quarterly revenue targets /liliDevelop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan /liliCreate articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services /liliAccelerate customer adoption /liliMaintain a robust sales pipeline /liliWork with partners to extend reach drive adoption /liliManage contract negotiations /liliDevelop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts /liliEnsure customer satisfaction /liliExpect moderate travel /li /ulh3Basic Qualifications /h3ulli7+ years of experience as a quota carrying technology field sales individual, or business development professional /liliExperience increasing technology adoption and creating long term transformational account strategies /liliExperience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and other lines of business /liliDemonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects to Enterprise Customers /liliDemonstrated success in bringing new customers on board /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliA technical or educational background in engineering, computer science /liliExperience selling cloud solutions /liliCross functional selling experience (Architect, Sales Engineer, Professional Services, Partner, and ISV) /liliPreferred languages: Billingual working proficiency in German and/or French /li /ulpAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
