We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and self-starting Planning and Ops Manager who can drive innovation, establish processes, and execute operational and supply chain excellence in Amazon India business. This role is particularly challenging given the marketplace model in India.
You will own the operational performance of sellers and vendors on the marketplace, influence FC Ops processes, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance vendor and customer experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving system and process improvements with Seller ISMs, SC Ops teams, and vendor operations, while delivering key operational programs to ensure the sustainability and profitability of Amazon India.
The role requires strong self-motivation, project management skills, and the ability to work closely with category leaders, planning and forecasting managers, operations teams, and technology teams. You will develop strategies, dashboards, and execution modes to solve complex inbound operation problems and work with cross-functional teams to improve seller/vendor operational performance.
Key job responsibilities
* Ensure seller/vendor operational performance delivery aligns with targets.
* Identify and communicate the strategic importance of metrics for managing tradeoffs, improving customer experience, and decision-making.
* Collaborate with vendor operations teams to reduce costs, lead times, and waste across the supply chain.
* Define, prioritize, and monitor programs/projects to ensure timely delivery of targets.
* Create, review, and support business cases, research, analysis, and specifications; drive product development from strategy to execution.
* Analyze data using Excel, Access, SQL, or other systems.
* Monitor project execution and ensure quality, adherence to timelines, and program integrity.
* Work with cross-functional teams to deliver operational performance and project outcomes.
The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, with a strong bias for deep dives, excellent communication skills, influential, curious, motivated, and effective in distributed teams.
