We’re supporting a leading global pharmaceutical organisation in Switzerland that is looking to bring on board an experienced Process Engineer to join the team on a 6 months initial contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a state-of-the‑art pharmaceutical facility, focusing on clean utility systems and process troubleshooting within a highly regulated GMP environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and optimisation for clean utility systems (e.g., purified water, WFI, clean steam, compressed air).
* Monitor and analyse system performance to ensure consistent operation and compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
* Support ongoing operations and maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime and reliable system performance.
* Lead or assist in root cause analysis, deviation management, and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Maintenance, QA, and Engineering to ensure smooth system performance and documentation accuracy.
* Participate in system upgrades, modifications, and validation activities where required.
* Ensure proper documentation and change control for all technical interventions.
Key Requirements
* Degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, or Biochemical Engineering (or related field).
* Proven hands‑on experience working with clean utilities within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
* Solid understanding of GMP principles and regulatory requirements.
* Strong background in operations, troubleshooting, or system optimisation.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills; able to interface effectively across departments.
* Experience with stainless steel bioreactors, fermentation systems, or similar process equipment is a strong advantage.
* Fluent in English;
