Our client, a leading innovator in medical device technology, is looking for a Sensor Development Engineer to join their dynamic team.
About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with technical experts to develop and enhance sensors for blood gas analysis.
* Plan and conduct material and sensor characterization experiments and tests.
* Gain deep understanding of complex electrochemical and optical sensors and processes, including their characterization and optimization.
* Manage assigned work packages, execute experiments, and prepare detailed analyses and documentation.
* Utilize analytical methods and tools for sensor and material analysis, and compile technical reports using data analysis software.
Must-Haves:
* Degree in Engineering/Science (e.g., Master's), ideally in Chemistry, Material Science, Physical Chemistry, or related field.
* 1–3 years of experience in a chemical laboratory environment.
* Proven experience with material characterization techniques (e.g., SEM, profilometry, chemical analysis, microscopy).
* Structured and independent approach to experiments and documentation.
* Detail-oriented, adaptable, and a collaborative team player who enjoys hands-on lab work.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a plus).
