Overview Lead Expert, Strategic Sourcing
(Direct Materials Procurement, Biomedical)

Key Responsibilities Manages the supplier base to ensure security of supply, compliance to quality and regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement on service, costs, OWC, and sustainability
Continuously identifies, assesses, and monitors risks (quality, security of supply, business impact) in the area of procurement and translates these into mitigating sourcing actions
Leads Sourcing initiatives related to Innovation and Large Operational Projects (and Running Business if needed) in order to support business growth and create value through procurement
Contributes to the definition and implementation of the unit’s Annual Procurement Plan

You Bring Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Commerce/Procurement, Business Administration, and/or Supply Chain Management.
5+ years’ experience in Sourcing and Purchasing roles in various business-to-business environments.
Experience in the Medical Device industry.
Experience with project management.
Proven track record in strategic sourcing and supplier consolidation.
Basic SAP knowledge and skills.
