To support our Quality Team, we are looking for our offices in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland for a: Quality Engineer PURPOSE - The purpose of the role is to represent the Quality department in transport projects by: - Guaranteeing methodological rigor in the development plan and coordinating all qualities activities within the project teams. TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES - Ensure that development standards are met. - Ensure that the customer requirements are transcribed at all stages of the project. - Anticipate and identify all risks associated with products and processes in projects and manage corrective action plans until the problem is resolved (PDCA). - Ensure consistency between product and process characteristics, participate to D-FMEA / P-FMEA and control plans. - Interface with customer/supplier on all incidents with 8D/PDCA completion. - Prepare the customers’ qualifications for the product (FAI, PPAP). - Conducts internal audits - Conducts supplier’s audits if needed. - Follows-up specific opened item list in accordance with his manager’s priorities. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE - Quality, Mechanical or Electrical engineer (HES/EPF) with additional training in Quality management. - Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings (mechanical, electrical). - At least 5 years of experience in Quality or project development in an industrial environment. - Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO TS 22163. - Strong knowledge and experience to use the main Quality tools: 8D, D-FMEA, P-FMEA, PPAP, FAI. - Project Management Professional (PMP) training or equivalent is an asset. - Training of auditors (internal, suppliers).
