Job Overview
Our client is an established Swiss software company specializing in innovative solutions for public administration. With around 140 employees and over 40 years of experience, the company combines modern technologies, flat hierarchies, and a culture of appreciation. To strengthen the infrastructure team, they are seeking an experienced professional focused on system engineering and IT security.
Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and address security vulnerabilities within the existing system landscape.
* Take responsibility for topics such as penetration testing, IAM/PAM, network access control, intrusion detection, and secure data exchange.
* Contribute to the development of security standards according to ISO 27001.
* Collaborate with the IT infrastructure team to maintain and optimize the hybrid environment (including Azure Cloud, VMware, Windows Server).
* Implement automation in Windows and Linux environments using PowerShell.
* Optionally participate in DevOps activities, such as further developing the Kubernetes environment.
Qualifications
* Completed education in system technology/platform development or equivalent qualification.
* Several years of experience in system engineering, ideally with proven project responsibility in security.
* Knowledge in areas such as Windows/Linux servers, Azure, VMware, PowerShell, Oracle, and MSSQL.
* Passion for IT security, analytical thinking, and structured working style.
* Team player with high initiative, sense of responsibility, and interest in DevOps principles.
* Proficient German skills (C1).
* Driver's license category B.
