Job Summary
We are seeking a Full Stack Web Engineer with a strong sense of UI/UX design and a proven track record in financial services. Experience in crypto or digital assets is highly valued. You will work on the full stack—from data models and APIs to interactive, high‑performance interfaces—building products that deliver tangible business value.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver end‑to‑end product features, including backend APIs and engaging, responsive UI components.
* Review and validate scalable software architectures, ensuring maintainability, reliability, and secure integrations.
* Champion good engineering practices: code reviews, automated testing, documentation, and CI/CD workflows.
* Optimise performance across the stack through debugging, profiling, and system tuning.
* Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business and user requirements into elegant solutions.
* Maintain consistent operational hygiene through clear documentation, smooth migrations, and predictable deployments.
* Explore and share emerging technologies, particularly Rust, WebAssembly, and modern API frameworks.
Required Experience
* Proven experience building full‑stack web applications with strong command of frontend and backend principles.
* Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (Vue, React, or similar) and component libraries such as Shadcn.
* Experience developing robust backend services, ideally using Rust or familiarity with typed backend languages.
* Solid understanding of HTTP, RESTful API design, and performance optimisation in web contexts.
* Hands‑on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, schema design, and query optimisation.
* Familiarity with Git‑based workflows, continuous integration, and automated testing practices.
* Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
* Product‑oriented mindset, balancing quality, speed, and user impact.
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a proactive attitude toward improving systems and team dynamics.
Preferred Qualifications
* Exposure to data‑intensive, governance‑driven, or fintech/crypto applications and curiosity for Rust or distributed systems.
* Awareness of secure coding practices, authentication/authorisation models (OAuth2, OpenID Connect).
* Knowledge of data visualisation libraries (D3.js, Recharts, or similar).
* Familiarity with observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Faro, or Datadog) and comfort instrumenting metrics, logs, and traces.
* Design applications with self‑observability in mind (health endpoints, tracing IDs, telemetry propagation).
* Exposure to Kubernetes, containerised environments, and Helm‑based deployments.
* Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) and infrastructure‑as‑code workflows.
* Experience in cloud‑native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and security‑first design.
* Comfort with financial datasets, trade logs, or analytics dashboards.
* Experience handling sensitive or regulated data, ideally in financial or crypto contexts.
Benefits & Offer
* A competitive salary package.
* Autonomy in time management through flexible working hours and remote work.
* The freedom to create your own entrepreneurial experience within a high‑performance team.
