About The Internship
We are seeking a Design Technologist Intern to join our team for a 5-month residency focused on the next frontier: Advanced Design Workflows. Your mission is to build and evaluate repeatable systems that assist in design projects from creative, execution and high-level decision‑making perspectives. You will leverage AI systems such as Gemini Pro and ComfyUI to build sophisticated workflows that streamline design operations and all aspects of creative work.
Key Focus Areas
* Domain: Agentic Application
* Creative Studio – Partnering with our internal imagery production team to build workflows for assisted asset generation, style‑consistent scaling, and QC loops.
* ID & CMF – Developing workflows for generative form exploration and automated material/finish suggestions based on various inputs.
* UX & Research – Creating synthetic user personas and agents capable of conducting preliminary heuristic evaluations or synthesizing complex user data.
* Design Ops – Building "workflow orchestrators" using Gemini Enterprise and Claude Code to automate hand‑offs, file organization and documentation.
Responsibilities
* Workflow Authoring: Utilize and master workflow authoring tools such as ComfyUI and Freepik.ai Spaces to design and test innovative AI‑driven creative pipelines.
* Development & Prototyping: Use Claude Code to rapidly iterate on agent behaviors, scripts, and integration layers.
* Research & Documentation: Conduct thorough research on the effectiveness of agentic loops versus traditional linear workflows, documenting findings for global design leadership.
* Model Evaluation: Pilot multi‑modal models in image, video, and 3D domains, focusing on how they perform when directed by an agentic "manager".
Qualifications
* Education: Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Agentic Framework Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in working with agent frameworks, LLM orchestration, and prompt chaining.
* AI Tool Literacy: Hands‑on experience with node‑based workflow tools (e.g., ComfyUI, Freepik.ai Spaces) and enterprise AI platforms like Gemini and Claude.
* Technical Agility: Experience using AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude Code to build or modify technical prototypes.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to evaluate the performance of AI agents (Gemini, etc.) and translate those technical results into design‑relevant insights.
* Proficiency in English.
Bonus Points
* Experience with 2D/3D creative workflows (Blender, Rhino, Adobe Creative Cloud).
* Knowledge of user‑centered design (UCD) and how it applies to AI‑human collaboration.
* A portfolio showcasing projects that move beyond simple "generation" into complex automation or smart workflows.
Benefits
* Contribute to cutting‑edge R&D in the emerging field of Agentic Design.
* Mentorship from industry leaders at Logitech’s premier European design headquarters.
* Help shape the proprietary agentic tools that will be used by Logitech Creative and Design teams globally.
