Role Responsibilities
* Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with local laws and regulations.
* Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate account record-keeping.
* Oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
* Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely submission of tax returns.
* Support the annual audit process by coordinating with external auditors.
* Prepare and assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
* Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
* Liaise with other departments to gather financial information and enhance collaboration.
* Assist in the evaluation of financial controls and risk management.
* Provide financial advice and guidance to management.
* Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
* Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for stakeholders.
* Support in special projects and financial analyses as needed.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA preferred.
* 2-4 years of experience in financial accounting or a related role.
* Strong knowledge of Swiss accounting and tax regulations.
* Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of German or French is a plus.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* High level of integrity and professionalism.
* Adaptability to changing business needs.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
* Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
