Sales Development Role
This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive business growth by acquiring new customers and developing existing relationships.
* Pipeline management: Guide qualified leads through the sales cycle, from initial contact to closing.
* Outreach: Identify and work on proactive sales opportunities in the market.
* Existing customer management: Develop assigned accounts through cross-selling, upselling, and regular touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
* Consultative selling: Provide expert guidance to customers on our offering, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
* Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering teams to align customer needs with services.
* Market intelligence: Stay informed of industry trends, competitive activity, and new technologies to ensure continued success.
Requirements:
* Full-stack sales experience: At least 2 years of experience in a closing role in a tech environment, ideally mid-market.
* Results-oriented mindset: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* A strong network: Good contacts in the Swiss tech sector or the motivation to build up this network quickly.
* Start-up affinity: Comfortable in an environment where quick decisions are required and actively involved in shaping structures.
* Technical understanding: Good understanding of IaaS/PaaS and ability to communicate benefits at both management and technical levels.
