About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Culinary Department in Zurich, the Sous Chef is responsible for state-of-the-art culinary experiences. The Sous Chef reports to the Head Chef.

YOUR TASKS
As Sous Chef you will be responsible for the following tasks:
* Working under the guidance of the Executive Sous Chef, be able to organize the team and workflow to execute the menu dishes according to the recipes and user guides in a high volume atmosphere for our guests.
* Lead and drive the team to maintain the highest level of productivity and efficiency in overall food preparation in the F&B outlets plus in-room dining.
* Be able to project and procure the adequate amount of products and prepare in timely manner.
* Demonstrate the ultimate level of food safety, understanding HACCP principles, possess the highest personal hygiene.
YOUR PROFILE
As Sous Chef, we expect from you:
* Globally-recognized culinary qualification.
* Menu planning and recipes knowledge
* Fine dining knowledge and experience for at least 5 years
* Excellent leadership skills and able to motivate the team to deliver exceptional quality
* Speak, read and communicate in a good level of German and English
* Must be of smart appearance with excellent personal hygiene standards
* Very good Food & Beverage knowledge
* Very good kitchen organisation experience
