The Capacity Building Unit at the ISO Central Secretariat provides capacity building activities through a five-year strategic framework, the ISO Action Plan for Developing Countries (APDC). The expected impact of the Action Plan is to empower developing countries to actively contribute to the ISO system and benefit fully from the use of ISO standards addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges. Key Responsibilities
1. Work with tutors, trainers, or development teams to create engaging and interactive online learning materials (such as eLearning courses, micro-learning videos, etc.) that are included in the ISO digital learning solutions (DLS) content plan.
2. Build and maintain online training webpages known as virtual instructor-led training sessions (VILTs) on the ISO digital learning platform.
3. Oversee and participate in the review and editing of existing eLearning courses and VILTs to keep them current, error-free, and relevant.
4. Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure content accuracy, functionality, and user-friendliness of all online learning materials on the ISO digital learning platform.
5. Track and analyze learner performance and feedback to improve future online learning materials.
6. Offer technical support for users experiencing issues with eLearning content.
7. Provide operational and technical support for the ISO digital learning platform.
8. Stay updated on emerging technologies, training development trends, and standards, and make recommendations for adoption.

Qualifications and Experience
1. University degree required, preferably in instructional design, training design and development, education and learning technology, or online curriculum development.
2. Five years of solid experience in designing and developing online learning materials deployed in various environments.
3. Solid working knowledge of authoring tools such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Moodle.
4. Five years of demonstrated experience working with Moodle.
5. Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
6. Basic knowledge of web technologies, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
7. Proficiency with MS Office tools.
8. Fluent in English (C1 level minimum); working knowledge of French is an advantage.
Skills
1. Strong technical skills in multimedia development tools, eLearning authoring tools, LMS, and understanding of SCORM packages.
2. Strong writing skills to create clear, concise content and activities that effectively communicate complex concepts.
3. Basic proficiency in graphic design, visual design, audio recording, and video production tools for multimedia content creation.
4. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and enhance course functionality, UX, and UI.
5. Effective project management skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
6. Excellent organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and focus on results and learner needs.
7. Creativity and innovative thinking to stay current with industry trends.
8. Self-motivated, able to work independently, and experienced in multicultural environments.
