The role entails leading a small team, comprised of traders and regulatory experts.br/br/bMain Responsibilities /b /p liLead the Treasury Trading desk in all day-to-day aspects, on behalf of PG’s advised and managed funds, mandates as well as PG’s own balance sheet. /li liProvide execution of trades of any complexity in all main asset classes like FX, equities and cash management instruments, including derivatives. /li liBe the overall business responsible for the trading infrastructure including interfaces between portfolio, treasury management and trade execution systems such as Thinkfolio, Triton, Wallstreet Suite and FXAII/360T. /li liManage the team's service catalogue and KPIs in an entrepreneurial fashion, while constantly analysing data on resulting benefits for clients and shareholders. /li liIdentify and manage high-risk areas adequately supported by a control framework; be on top of and act according to regulations and upcoming regulatory changes. /li liOwn ISDA negotiations with banks. /li liDevelop new and strengthen existing business relationships with counterparties, including banks. /li liCreate value-add initiatives to increase performance, minimize risk and increase scalability. /li liBe the interface with the middle office and maintain close interaction for all settlement and reporting aspects (e.g. best execution). /li liAct as a center of excellence within global treasury for portfolio management and investment teams with advice on trade implementation for the covered asset classes. /li liMaintain regular interaction with other departments such as legal, compliance, structuring, business applications, audit, tax, etc. /li liBe a member of the Counterparty Risk Group and part of the Best Execution Committee. /li p .newspaper { h1 { font-size: 250%; font-family: Lato; } h2 { font-size: 200%; } p { font-size: 100%; } /p bWhat we expect /bbr/ liHas a minimum of 10-15 years of execution trading experience, including in a leadership position, at an asset manager, a private bank, or within the treasury desk of a global universal bank. /li liMulti-asset experience (incl. equities); experience with FX is a must-have. /li liHas experience owning, implementing and adapting trading information systems. /li liHas strategic capabilities to establish goals/vision for Partners Group with regards to its trading activities, and build a realistic plan, in line with the firm’s priorities. /li liThe ability to withstand pressure, a fast-pace and deliver multiple tasks at the same time. /li liAn individual with strong numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail. /li liAn individual who creates a sense of purpose/meaning for the team. /li liAn individual who is viewed by others as having a high degree of integrity and forethought in his/her approach to making decisions. /li liExisting trading relationships with global banks is a strong plus. /li liFluency in English is required.
