Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
* 8 years of experience in UX writing, content design, technical writing, editorial, marketing, or related experience and leading content strategy projects.

Preferred Qualifications
* 8 years of experience in content design or UX writing in a tech product or similar environment.
* 7 years of experience interacting with executive leadership.
* 5 years of experience working in a cross‑functional technology organization.
* Experience with prompt engineering, system prompt evaluation and conversational design.
* Experience working with generative AI.
About the Job
In this role, you will own content design outcomes, ensuring a unified and cohesive voice across all of Studio and YouTube. You will focus on GenAI content and help define what great AI-generated content looks like, writing system prompts, creating standards and guidelines, and evaluating prompts to improve GenAI features. You will constantly learn new tools and capabilities as they develop and train others to create, evaluate, and modify AI content so that it sounds human, helpful, and always adheres to YouTube's voice and tone principles.
Responsibilities
* Understand and advocate for all UX functions as essential to the product life‑cycle.
* Drive the development of innovative UX writing and content design solutions to user, product, and business problems.
* Build alignment by collaborating with product managers, team members, and cross‑functional stakeholders (e.g., marketing, legal, engineering) to develop a product narrative, goal, mission, or principles.
* Help define what great GenAI content looks like for our users, including ideal model inputs, content formats, and style.
* Understand voice and tone principles, applying the right amount of formality and enthusiasm for different situations.
