Recruitment Consultant – Life Science / IT Recruitment

They are seeking a motivated and commercially driven individual to join their Zurich-based team. The successful candidate will focus on expanding their client base by building strong, lasting partnerships with companies looking for recruitment and staffing solutions. The role combines business development, client relationship management, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver outstanding service.
Responsibilities
* Client Acquisition: Identify and approach potential clients to understand their recruitment needs and present tailored solutions.
* Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to grow market share through proactive networking, market research, and cross‑selling.
* Relationship Management: Build trusted, long‑term relationships, becoming the first point of contact for clients’ recruitment needs.
* Negotiation: Manage contract negotiations to ensure mutually beneficial terms in line with internal policies.
* Collaboration: Partner with internal recruitment teams to match the right talent to client needs, across both permanent and contract roles.
* Market Awareness: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to maintain a strong competitive edge.
* Reporting: Track sales activity and client development, providing regular feedback to leadership.
Candidate Profile
* Language Skills: Fluent English, German highly preferred.
* Experience: Up to 3 years of experience within the agency recruitment sector in Life Sciences or IT including business development, winning new clients.
* Strategic Approach: Ability to think commercially and develop growth plans.
* Technical Skills: Comfortable with CRM systems and modern sales tools.
* Relationship Builder: Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Agility: Thrives in a dynamic, target‑driven environment.
