Senior Functional ETRM Consultant at Previse Systems

About the Role
In this role you will be part of a small, diverse team to implement the Previse software for our clients within the Previse Project Implementation Framework. You will work with clients to understand their ETRM requirements, configure the Previse software to meet those requirements, test the implementations, train users, and support go-live activities. Implementations may involve working solely for a client, as part of a larger Previse team, or with our implementation partners.
You will act as an intermediary between the client and our internal development team, ensuring the delivery of our software meets the client’s requirements and quality expectations. You will translate requirements into functional specifications, configure the Previse software, and support testing and demonstrations. This hands-on role covers a wide array of activities and requires building knowledge of the software, the implementation life cycle, and the European Power, Gas & Emissions trading and operational landscapes.
The successful candidate will have strong business analysis skills and a background in the Energy Trading Industry, as well as software development and implementation experience. You will develop knowledge within the commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) markets and become a key member of the Previse Services team. A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct requirements workshops and analysis to capture customer requirements
* Perform issue resolution, analysis and troubleshooting of the Previse software for clients
* Develop specifications for business scenarios, solutions and test cases
* Support the implementation and sales process for existing, new or potential clients
* Configure the Previse software to meet client requirements during implementations
* Collaborate with internal teams and Subject Matter Experts to analyse complex requirements and develop solution definitions for enhancements
* Support system and regression testing, assisting client user testing
* Support the product team’s software test plan execution based on client experiences
* Assist less experienced team members to understand the software
* Be an active contributing member of the team on product implementations, enhancements and/or integrations
* Provide informative and tailored customer training on the application
About You
You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Technology or a closely related area.
You will have at least 5 to 8 years’ experience in hands-on IT implementations within a client-facing Professional Services team, ideally within the Energy or Trading sector. You are a team player, handle pressure, and enjoy solving challenging problems with experienced colleagues. You communicate well and build relationships with internal and external customers. You can manage multiple responsibilities and learn quickly.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This position typically operates during regular business hours with some after-hours work for special projects.
Travel
Limited travel required; customers and partners are located across Europe, so some travel will be necessary.
