Located in the heart of the old town of Rapperswil, we are a young startup offering all Home Energy Management System (HEMS) manufacturers the opportunity to use our software to make their solutions more attractive to end users and thus maximize their energy-saving potential.
We're seeking a proactive and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. You are responsible for the entire sales cycle, from generating new leads and closing licensing agreements to ensuring the long-term success of your clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and an established network within the energy industry in Switzerland.
Responsibilities
* Generate new business opportunities through cold-calling, emailing, and networking to build a robust sales pipeline.
* Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and lead qualification to negotiation and closing licensing agreements.
* Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value and benefits of our solution.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their long-term success and satisfaction.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for your closed accounts, addressing their needs and providing ongoing support to foster customer loyalty and retention.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product) to provide client feedback and ensure a seamless customer experience.
* Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas and performance metrics.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer information in the CRM system.
* Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively position our offerings.
Requirements
* Proven track record as a top-performing Account Executive, Business Development Manager, or similar sales role.
* Demonstrated success in cold-calling and prospecting to generate and close new business.
* Strong expertise and an established network within the energy industry in Switzerland is essential.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
* Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
* Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
* Fluency in English and German, with French being a plus.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
