HEIG-VD is opening the position of Associate Professor of University of Applied Sciences in Cadastral Systems and Land ManagementWithin the Built Environment & Geomatics (ECG) department, you will contribute to the development of teaching and research activities in the field of territorial engineering. You will intervene in the Territorial Engineering program for teaching activities, while developing applied research projects within the Institute of Territorial Engineering (INSIT). Integrated into a team of professors, you will participate in projects related to current territorial development issues, particularly in the fields of cadastral systems, land management, and spatial planning.Main activities- Teach students at the Bachelor and Master levels and supervise diploma theses- Develop continuing education courses in the fields of cadastral systems and land management- Collaborate with other specialties of territorial engineering, geomatics, and spatial planning, and develop skills in related fields such as data interoperability, specific aspects of cadastral systems, and land management- Develop and carry out applied research, development, and service activities (Ra&D), as well as technology transfers in collaboration with professional circles, academic institutions, companies, and public authorities, at the regional, national, and international levels- Contribute to the visibility and influence of the institute and HEIG-VD in the field of your specialty- Participate in the activities of HEIG-VD and HES-SO in the field of your specialtyYour profile- Master's degree in engineering or equivalent title.
