The ideal candidate is a “multiplier” – a technical leader who produces high-quality, clean code while effectively leveraging AI‑assisted development to accelerate delivery and drive operational excellence. /p h3In this role you will /h3 ul liSupport the Bank’s “People First” focus and rules of engagement—maintaining a professional demeanor, working as an active member of the CNOB team, providing clients excellent service, always striving to make CNOB “A Better Place to Be” /li liEngineering Leadership: Manage a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, setting coding standards, conducting peer reviews and mentoring the team to ensure high-quality output. /li liSystem Integration API Design: Lead the design and implementation of internal APIs to ensure seamless data flow between tech eco-system. /li liAI-Driven Development: Champion the use of AI tools to automate repetitive coding tasks, generate documentation and decrease the time‑to‑market for new features. /li liQuality Assurance: Establish automated testing frameworks to guarantee banking‑grade reliability and system integrity. /li liDevOps Excellence: Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines to transition from manual deployments to streamlined, automated delivery cycles. /li liStrategy Roadmap: Design and maintain the technology roadmap for internal applications to ensure they support the bank’s current and future business needs. /li liCollaboration: Work closely with IT operations, cybersecurity, innovation and business units to ensure the successful implementation of software initiatives. /li /ul h3Must haves /h3 ul liPeople First Engagement: Strong “People First” interest and ability. /li liFull-Stack Development: Mastery of modern programming languages and frameworks, specifically Node.js, React.js and TypeScript, with the ability to personally contribute to the codebase. /li liAPI Integration Engineering: Deep expertise in designing and implementing secure API layers and microservices to integrate core banking systems with third-party software. /li liAI-Assisted Development: Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to accelerate the software development life cycle (SDLC) and enhance code quality. /li liEngineering Frameworks: Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and modern software methodologies like Agile and DevOps. /li liTechnical Stack Proficiency: Expert knowledge in full-stack development (React/Angular for front-end, Node.js/Python/C# for back-end). /li liIntegration Expertise: Deep experience with REST/SOAP APIs and middleware. /li liTooling: Familiarity with DevOps/CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes) and Agile tools like Jira. /li liAI Edge: Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) to increase engineering velocity. /li liProject Management: Excellent skills with a proven ability to manage multiple complex software initiatives simultaneously. /li liEducation: Bachelor’s degree required. /li liExperience: 5+ years of hands‑on experience developing APIs and integration services within a regulated enterprise environment, with a strong preference for banking or financial services.
