Job Description: Avionics Technician F/A-18
Location: Emmen
Position Type: Permanent
Responsibilities:
* Perform IERA maintenance and modification work (instruments, electronics, radio, and avionics) on avionics and electrical systems in and on the overall aircraft system.
* Conduct general electrical/mechanical work.
* Follow-up on work documentation according to relevant specifications.
* Independently troubleshoot and repair defects within the released documentation and personal authorization.
* Specialize in individual areas according to authorization.
Requirements:
* Basic technical education with an electrical background (e.g., Electronics Technician, Car Mechanic).
* Fluent in English (B2 level is an advantage).
* Possess a Category B driving license.
* Experience in avionics is an advantage but not essential.
Skills:
* Knowledge of electrical and avionics systems.
* Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues.
* Proficiency in following technical documentation.
