Your responsibilities
* You are responsible for the design and optimization of components, assemblies, and systems while taking into account technical, scheduling, and financial aspects
* You create 3D draftings of component assemblies with CAD systems, including surface modeling (for casting parts)
* You ensure the creation of 2D and 3D visualizations to clarify technical content and set up technical presentations
* You perform the basic component calculation (FEM/analytical)
* You are in charge of PLM management (BOM creation, lifecycle promotion, etc.)
* You ensure interdisciplinary cooperation with the corresponding departments within the project environment
* You cooperate with component suppliers to clarify technical properties of components and for common component development (co-design)
* You contribute to FMEA
* You act as design component referent for selected components across all engine platforms
Your profile
* Master degree in the field of mechanical engineering / automotive manufacturing
* You possess experience in the design of defence combustion engines
* You have knowledge of special materials used in the defence engine field, such as magnesium, NI-Resist, and aluminum
* You have basic understanding osimulation results suche as CFD, FEA etc.
* You are proficient in English
* You have advanced knowledge in PTC Creo and PLM Albatros, and you are familiar with ERP Systems
* You are autonomous, committed and flexible with an organized work ethic
* You are willing to work in a multicultural team and bring strong social skills
