Role Overview
Internship supporting cellular assays in the LD department. The cellular assays team characterizes molecular interactions and target engagement in relevant cell systems. The intern will explore application and automation of innovative thermal denaturation strategies in cells and lysates and collaborate with the lab automation and biophysics teams.
Responsibilities
* Assist in characterizing molecular interactions and target engagement in cell systems.
* Apply and automate thermal denaturation methods in a cellular context, including cells and lysates.
* Collaborate with lab automation and biophysics teams to integrate new workflows.
* Maintain a clean and organized cell culture laboratory.
Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in a Master’s programme in biochemistry, biology, biophysics, or a related life sciences field.
* Background or interest in thermal denaturation methods, or a degree obtained within the last 12 months.
* Experience or knowledge in automation systems and/or cell culture.
* Proactive, independent, confident, and willing to explore new ideas.
* For non‑EU/EFTA citizens, must provide a university certificate stating the internship is mandatory.
