Governance and Strategic Alignment
Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive IT governance framework aligned with best practices (e.g. COBIT, ISO27001, TISAX).
Establish and manage a robust demand governance process to review and approve new IT initiatives and ensure they align with business priorities.
Drive continuous improvement of governance maturity and promote innovation through benchmarking and adoption of best practices.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards by proactively monitoring regulatory and industry changes, updating policies and frameworks accordingly.
Identify, assess, and mitigate IT risks in collaboration with cybersecurity, legal, and enterprise risk teams.
Oversee IT audit processes, coordinate audit responses, and manage regulatory inspections and findings.
Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting
Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and board committees on IT governance and compliance matters.
Produce regular reports and dashboards on IT risk, compliance, governance performance, and improvement initiatives.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align IT governance with broader enterprise objectives.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the impact of data analytics and technology initiatives.
Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on IT governance responsibilities, policies, and compliance standards.
Lead initiatives to build a culture of accountability, compliance, and risk awareness across IT and the wider organization.
Incident and Breach Response Support
Support the investigation and response to IT incidents and data breaches, ensuring compliance with reporting obligations.
Lead post-incident reviews to identify root causes, capture lessons learned, and implement corrective actions.
