The Business Development Manager position is an exciting opportunity to drive growth and expansion in the sports & live events sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Planning
• Collaborate with the Head of Client Growth and CEO to develop strategic plans for business development.
• Identify opportunities for growth in the DACH region.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
Sales Management
• Manage sales activities for the DACH region, including lead generation, prospecting, and account management.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts.
• Participate in pitch presentations and support the sales team on sales-specific documentations and presentations.
Lead Generation
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and other means.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the DACH region.
Reporting and Analysis
• Provide regular status reports on goals and leads to stakeholders.
• Analyze industry developments and assess client needs to inform business strategy.
This role requires a strong business network in the DACH region, at least 10 years' experience in business development roles, and a deep understanding of the sports & live events sectors. The ideal candidate will be based in Lausanne, Switzerland, and have excellent communication skills in English.
