PpOur financial client is seeking a Senior / Lead Auditor to join their Basel based team in a permanent role. /ppThis role will require 100% onsite working in Basel, with international travel expected up to 30 days per year. /ph3Your Role: /h3pAs a Lead Auditor you will operate across a diverse range of risk topics, including financial crime and business conduct, while remaining flexible to new and emerging areas. You will independently plan and deliver audits end-to-end, from scoping to reporting, while engaging with stakeholders at all levels. In addition, you will take ownership of selected international locations, driving risk identification, assessment and timely responses to an evolving business and regulatory landscape, and acting as sparring partner to local senior management. /ph3Your Responsibilities: /h3ulliAssume the role of Lead Auditor, including goal- and deadline-oriented planning, independent execution and timely communication of results from end-to-end audits /liliDraft clear and impactful reports /liliAct as a sparring partner for management /liliMonitor the implementation of measures /liliPrepare statements for the Head of Group Internal Audit, the Board of Directors, or other decision-makers /liliAct as the person responsible for the locations Panama and Bahamas (annual risk assessment, activity planning, key contact) /liliParticipate in special investigations and projects /liliServe as a Subject Matter Expert /li /ulh3Your Profile: /h3ulliBanking apprenticeship, certified bank professional, or higher business education (university or university of applied sciences), CIA, CFA, or equivalent /liliA certified public accountant qualification is advantageous /liliAt least 5 years of experience as a Lead Auditor in banking audit (internal or external audit) /liliExcellent Microsoft Office skills; experience with Avaloq is an advantage /liliAbility to weigh problems, set priorities and strong analytical skills /liliAbility to collaborate with diverse stakeholders /liliHands-on mentality, strong work ethic, integrity and a high level of accountability /liliExcellent communication and presentation skills as well as ability to work independently /liliWillingness to travel abroad (approx. 30 days per year) /liliFluency in English with the ability to write clear, impactful texts in English; knowledge of German, French, or Spanish is an advantage /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
