About the Company: ANAVIA specializes in the design, development & manufacturing of vertical takeoff & landing (VTOL) systems of up to 500 kilograms. The company offers industry leading unmanned helicopter systems for various mission profiles, such as Surveillance & Reconnaissance, Inspection or Mapping & Cargo. As a Aerodynamics Engineer you will be responsible for creating new aerodynamic profiles in CAD, analysing and optimizing the aerodynamic performance of unmanned helicopter systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that design and operational re-quirements are met, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the aircraft. Your main tasks: Conduct aerodynamic analyses of unmanned helicopter designs using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and wind tunnel testing to assess performance under various flight conditions. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop and refine helicopter designs that optimize aerodynamic effi-ciency, stability, and control. Performance Evaluation: Evaluate flight performance metrics, such as lift, drag, and maneuverability, and provide recommendations for design improvements based on analytical findings. Model Development: Create and maintain aerodynamic models for simulation and analysis, ensuring they accurately represent the helicop-ter's performance characteristics. Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and documentation on aero-dynamic analyses, including findings, recommendations, and technical specifications for internal and regulatory review. Collaboration: Work with multi-disciplinary teams, including structural engineers, control engineers, and system designers, to ensure inte-grated performance of the unmanned helicopter systems Stay updated on advancements in aerody-namics and related technologies, incorporating best practices and inno-vative approaches into design processes with this you convince us: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechani...
