To continue supporting our growing activities, we are currently looking for a QC Microbiology Senior Technician to join a dynamic Biopharma environment in Switzerland.
Your responsibilities
* Perform microbiological testing activities in GMP-regulated laboratory environments
* Execute routine analyses such as bioburden, endotoxin testing, microbial identification, and related microbiology assays
* Review analytical results and ensure accurate data management within LIMS systems
* Support growth promotion testing, method suitability, and laboratory qualification activities
* Handle sample reception, preparation, and testing while ensuring compliance with quality and EHS standards
* Participate in investigations related to deviations, OOS, or laboratory events and contribute to CAPA implementation
* Contribute to the update and improvement of laboratory procedures and documentation
* Collaborate closely with QC, QA, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams
* Support inspection and audit readiness activities as technical contributor within the microbiology laboratory
* Promote a strong quality mindset and compliance culture across laboratory operations
Your profile
* Technician degree or equivalent background in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field
* Minimum 3 years of experience in QC Microbiology within Pharmaceutical or Biotech environments
* Good knowledge of GMP guidelines and microbiological laboratory practices
* Experience with LIMS and laboratory documentation systems
* Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical mindset
* Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration within teams
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
* Fluent in French and/or English
