Description
* Ensure full transparency and ownership of profitability across the global manufacturing network, maintaining a performance‑driven dialogue with plant and operations leaders to challenge results, identify deviations early and drive corrective actions.
* Lead and further develop global manufacturing costing frameworks, ensuring consistent, reliable and comparable cost structures that reflect operational realities and strategic requirements.
* Translate complex operational KPIs into clear, decision‑ready insights for senior management, highlighting cost drivers, productivity trends, structural developments and investment implications.
* Drive measurable improvements in operational performance by identifying efficiency opportunities, quantifying potential impact and partnering with operations leadership to ensure effective implementation across sites.
* Deliver robust executive decision support through structured profitability analyses, cost‑to‑serve assessments, make‑or‑buy evaluations and investment cases, ensuring decisions are based on high‑quality financial insight.
* Monitor global CAPEX performance, evaluate returns on investment and support the prioritisation of capital expenditure in line with long‑term operational and financial objectives.
* Act as the central coordination point for plant controllers across regions, providing guidance, aligning controlling standards and fostering a collaborative network focused on best practice sharing and continuous improvement.
* Strengthen data transparency and reporting discipline by refining KPI frameworks, promoting consistent use of SAP CO and driving a more fact‑based, forward‑looking performance management culture.
Profile
* Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing controlling or operations finance within international, multi‑site industrial environments.
* Strong expertise in factory costing, cost‑driver analysis and plant performance management, with confidence working close to production.
* Deep understanding of manufacturing cost structures, operational KPIs and productivity drivers, combined with the ability to convert complex data into clear business insights.
* Proven capability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, influencing decisions through structured analysis and sound financial judgement.
* High level of ownership and execution focus, ensuring that improvement initiatives lead to measurable operational impact.
* Demonstrated ability to ensure transparency of factory profitability and to promote consistent costing and performance‑steering standards across sites.
