Our client, a pioneering Swiss company based in Biel, is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join their innovative engineering team. About the Role:
As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing our client's industrial machine software. You will collaborate with various departments to define specifications, implement automation programs, and ensure the performance of complex production equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a flexible, international environment.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HES/EPF) in Software, Automation, or Industrial Systems Engineering
* Solid experience with machine tools, industrial automation, and software development
* Proficiency in C++ and C#; knowledge of Beckhoff/Siemens tools is a strong asset
* Strong computer and networking knowledge
* Fluency in English (B2+); French or German is a plus
Nice to Have:
* Experience with web technologies (e.g., REST, ASP.NET)
* Familiarity with OPC and Industry 4.0
* Ability to define and develop human-machine interfaces (HMI)
* Team-oriented mindset with a solution-driven approach
