As a Staff Engineer, you will operate at both a technical leadership and hands‑on engineering level, driving complex initiatives across teams while setting a high bar for engineering excellence. You will own critical areas of the system, influence architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and deliver impactful features and platform improvements at scale. /p h3In This Role You Will: /h3 ul liLead the design and evolution of distributed systems that power our OT/IoT cybersecurity platform /li liDrive architecture decisions with a long‑term perspective on scalability, performance, and maintainability /li liOwn cross‑team initiatives, aligning engineering efforts with product and business priorities /li liIdentify and systematically reduce technical debt, improving system reliability and developer productivity /li liAct as a technical multiplier, mentoring engineers and raising the bar on design, code quality, and operational excellence /li liDefine and champion best practices in software design, testing, and observability /li liCollaborate closely with Product, SRE, and Security teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions /li liInfluence and improve engineering processes, ensuring effective delivery in a fast‑paced agile environment /li liTake ownership of mission‑critical features and services, from concept through production and beyond /li liEmbody Nozomi Networks’ cultural pillars, promoting transparency, trust, and accountability /li /ul h3To Be Successful In This Opportunity, You Will Have: /h3 ul liExtensive experience designing and building large‑scale distributed systems in production environments /li liStrong expertise in at least one core language: Golang, C++, Python, or Ruby /li liProven track record of technical leadership beyond team boundaries /li liDeep understanding of system design, algorithms, and data structures /li liExperience with modern backend architectures, APIs, and service‑oriented systems /li liSolid background in automated testing strategies (TDD, BDD, integration testing) /li liFamiliarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and React is a plus /li liStrong knowledge of PostgreSQL and data modeling is a plus /li liUnderstanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.) is highly valuable /li liExperience working in Agile environments with cross‑functional collaboration /li liAbility to operate in high‑trust, high‑confidentiality environments /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
