For one of our clients, a well-established company in the construction sector, we are looking for a Chief Accountant in close collaboration with the management and teams. Your main responsibilities will include:- Overseeing all general, auxiliary, and analytical accounting- Managing and supporting an accounting team- Ensuring periodic closures- Managing cash flow and monitoring financial flows- Preparing VAT returns and ensuring tax compliance- Implementing and monitoring internal controls and financial procedures- Participating in budgeting and financial monitoring- Addressing specific sector-related issues- Acting as a key contact for auditors, partners, and managementWe are looking for a person with a background in finance/accounting (federal diploma) confirmed as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant- Experience in the construction sector or a similar environment is appreciated- Strong technical skills (closures, taxation, cash management)- Good level of proficiency in French and English or German- Ability to manage and structure an accounting function- Profile that is autonomous, rigorous, and solution-orientedDoes this job description suit you?
