Location: UK - Midlands-based, ideally situated for travel to our Telford and Stratford offices

About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior People Partner to join our Central People team. This is a pivotal role, responsible for partnering with our Central Functions (Technology, People, Finance, Procurement, Sales & Marketing) and acting as our UK-wide Employee Relations subject matter expert.

As a trusted strategic partner, you’ll align People strategy with business goals, champion a great colleague experience, and provide expert leadership across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll also work closely with our global People teams and Centres of Excellence to drive consistency and best practice across all things People.


What You’ll Be Doing


Strategic People Partnering

* Deliver the People Plan for Central Functions, aligned with Reconomy’s People First strategy.
* Drive key initiatives across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to succession planning.
* Support organisational design, workforce planning, and engagement strategies.
* Manage reward, recognition, and employee experience programmes.


Employee Relations Expertise

* Act as the UK’s ER subject matter expert, advising on complex issues and legal compliance.
* Own and evolve our global People policies, ensuring consistency, legal compliance and alignment with organisational values.
* Lead ER training and capability-building across the People team and business leaders.
* Provide expert guidance on policies, procedures, dispute resolution, and best practice.


People Development

* Manage Talent and Performance Management processes.
* Develop and implement training and development programmes.
* Coach and develop managers to enhance their leadership skills.


Data Analysis and Compliance

* Develop and implement People Dashboards for Central Functions.
* Analyse People metrics and provide insights to inform decision making.
* Ensure full compliance with employment law and internal procedures.


What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a confident and capable HR professional who can make a real impact. The ideal candidate will have:

* Proven experience in a senior HR business partnering role or similar.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations, acting as a trusted advisor to the business.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
* A collaborative and coaching approach – someone who builds trust, solves problems, and drives continuous improvement.
* Strong analytical skills and the confidence to use data to inform strategy and support decision-making.
* CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards it).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
