Swiss Education Group is the largest private hospitality education group in Switzerland. Our four hospitality management schools, alongside the Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland, offer undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications. With a variety of specializations on offer, ranging from Events Management to Finance, we encompass seven brands across five state-of-the-art campuses (Brig, Le Bouveret, Caux, Leysin, & Montreux), all supported by our corporate head office in Montreux.
For our Culinary Arts Academy campus in Le Bouveret, we are currently looking for a:
PASTRY INSTRUCTOR (100%)
The successful candidate will join a dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality Pastry programs to an international student body. Pastry Instructors are student-centered, supportive, and highly engaged in the teaching and learning process. They play a key role in facilitating meaningful learning experiences that help students achieve their career goals.
Starting Date : September/October 2025
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Pastry & Chocolate theory and practical classes to students according to our standards and complying with principles of food safety and sanitation
Explain subject concepts utilizing a variety of teaching methods and strategies.
Assess student performance through observation and interaction, along with written and practical assignments and submit grades.
Experiences and qualifications:
Degree in Pastry or Culinary Arts (Professional Certificate or equivalent)
At least 5 years’ experience in the industry, ideally in renowned establishment
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in pastry arts
Culinary teaching experience within a hospitality school a strong asset
Creative team-player, able to work in a very international environment
Moderate to advanced computer literacy as it applies to delivery of applicable course content
Facilitation and Presentation Skills
Sens of Initiative, creativity, maturity, leadership skills
Fluent in English written and spoken, French is strong an asset
