We are looking for: an experienced engineering professional to join a highly specialized Swiss high-tech manufacturing environment focused on low-volume, high-precision machinery and advanced production systems.
This opportunity is particularly interesting for candidates with experience in:
* Sensor-integrated automation systems
* Handling of flexible / non-rigid materials
You will play a key role in the industrialization, optimization, and transfer of highly engineered production and assembly systems from development into scalable manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and optimize precision assembly, alignment, and production processes
* Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and design transfer activities into Operations
* Define, build, validate, and continuously improve production systems and manufacturing equipment
* Support prototype builds and low-volume production environments
* Drive process optimization, cost reduction, and operational excellence initiatives
Requirements
o 8+ years of experience in low-volume, high-precision manufacturing or machine building environments
o Strong background in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrialization, or New Product Introduction
o Experience with complex machinery, automation systems, or precision electromechanical assemblies
o Experience with sensor-integrated production systems or automation technologies
o Strong understanding of process validation, equipment qualification, and structured engineering environments
o Hands‑on mentality with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
o Experience working cross‑functionally between Engineering and Operations
o Experience with Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen methodologies
o Strong communication skills in German and English
