Project Controller (50-80%)
Our client, a global leader in the production and support of active pharmaceutical ingredients in chemical and biotechnology sectors, is seeking a Project Controller for a 12-month contract (with potential extension) based in the Valais area, Switzerland.
Assignment can be at 50 to 80% per month. Remote work is possible, but strong site presence is preferred.
Support of key CAPEX project.
Focus on cost reporting, cash forecasting, and cost rebookings, involving some complexity with two legal entities. Collaboration with project and finance teams on-site.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide risk assessments, evaluate finances, conduct analysis and controls, performance assessment, change management, project forecasting, and reporting on projects of various sizes and complexities.
Assist project managers with decision-making to ensure successful project completion.
Develop, implement, and maintain a project reporting and cost tracking system that meets the needs of the project team, management, and client.
Maintain, track, update, and analyze project schedules, progress, cost estimates, variances, change orders, expenditures, risks, risk mitigation, estimated costs at completion, and change management.
Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant work/residency permit or Swiss/EU citizenship required
Several years of experience in a similar role
English required; German preferred
