PpbAbout the Role /b /p /ppWithin Group Finance Operations Technology (GFOT), Reporting Solutions is responsible for designing and delivering finance reporting, analytics, and application solutions for Swiss Re. As part of Swiss Re’s ongoing transformation, we are further standardizing how finance dashboards and applications are designed and built on the Palantir Foundry platform, including AI‑enriched use are looking for a motivated intern to support the definition of a UX/UI framework and design toolkit for finance dashboards and applications, with a strong focus on user experience, usability, and interactivity. /p ppbKey Responsibilities /b /p /p pAs an intern, you will contribute to the establishment of a consistent design approach for finance applications and dashboards and translate business and user needs into tangible design main responsibilities will include: /p liSupporting the definition of a framework for application development and dashboard design on Palantir Foundry /li liAnalyzing financial reporting and finance process use cases to derive UX/UI requirements /li liDefining and documenting UX and UI design principles tailored to finance users /li liDesigning interaction concepts for finance dashboards, as well as AI‑supported and analytics‑driven applications /li liCreating mock‑ups and clickable prototypes to illustrate recommended user flows and design patterns /li liEstablishing a design toolkit, based on various inputs, that can be reused by application engineers and developers /li liCollaborating with finance, reporting, and engineering stakeholders to validate concepts /li pbDeliverables / Outcomes /b /p liDocumented design principles for finance applications and dashboards /li liA reusable UX/UI toolkit for application engineers /li liClickable prototypes and visual mock‑ups demonstrating best practices /li liPractical recommendations to improve usability, consistency, and adoption of finance applications /li pbTools and Environment /b /p libPlatform: /b Palantir Foundry /li libDesign Prototyping Tools: /b PowerPoint, Figma, and other mock‑up / prototyping tools /li ppbAbout the Team /b /p /p pWe are the bReporting Solutions /b team within Swiss Re's Global Finance Operations Transformation unit — trusted partners to the Finance organization and guardians of financial reporting and analytics. Our remit is broad and impactful: we span the full financial close cycle, from sub-ledger through General Ledger all the way to group reporting, and we own the data foundations that power them all. We provide ready to use reports and tools for internal management reporting, external compliance reporting (incl. group IFRS results as well as local regulatory, statutory reporting valuations), analytics on big data and explore recent technologies like AI GenAI for Finance. /p ppbAbout You /b /p /p pYou thrive in collaborative environments and approach challenges with curiosity and persistence.
