Risk Analyst Asset Management
Aufgaben
Analyze and monitor market, liquidity, credit, counterparty and sustainability risks across multiple asset classes and investment structures as a 2nd LoD / Measure and assess the risk with risk factor analysis, scenario simulations, stress tests, etc. / Provide an independent view of investment risk profiles / Define appropriate risk control measures and monitoring processes in the interactions with auditors, subject matter expert, external stakeholders etc. / Define appropriate structured risk assessments for the teams and design the further development of the risk management framework / Close cooperation with several risk functions on the 2nd LoD, committees and SVPs / Ensure compliance to risk governance / If necessary, develop training courses to promote risk-oriented behavior in the departments / Ad hoc projects.
Qualifikation
Master’s or Ph.D. in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics or Physics / Additional CFA, FRM, PRM or other certifications are essential / Professional experience in the asset management of international bank or in an asset management company / Knowledge of investment risk management or quantitative portfolio management, including various asset classes and financial instruments for multi-asset investments / Ability to model market and liquidity risks as well as counterparty risks using SQL, Python, R, and Matlab, etc. / IT skills and ability to use various risk management software programs and Bloomberg Professional Services / Analytical, team-oriented personality with independent work style / Interested in interdisciplinary projects with teams worldwide / Ability to communicate smoothly and present problems in an easily understandable way / Fluency in German and English.
