Job Description :
Do you have a strong experience as a HW Opto-Electronics Engineer ? Have you previously worked in the Aerospace industry ? This position is yours ! We are seeking a Hardware Optoelectronics Engineer as a Consultant position, to support the development of the next-generation optical communication systems for satellites.
The Role :
* Oversee the complete electronic hardware development lifecycle, encompassing schematic design, simulation, prototyping, verification, optimization, and system integration
* Plan and execute comprehensive testing and validation campaigns, in accordance with internal QA processes and ESA specifications
* Design and optimize high-reliability analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for laser communication terminals, photodetector front-ends, and optical control electronics
* Define and manage hardware and electro-optical requirements
* Based in Lausanne
* Long term position
Profile / Requirements :
* MSc or PhD in Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
* Experience with optical or optoelectronic components (lasers, photodiodes, fiber optics) is a major asset
* 6+ years of experience in analog and mixed-signal electronic design, or optoelectronic sectors
* Experience in the Space / Aerospace Industry
Solid understanding of :
* Analog and digital control systems
* PLLs, ADC / DACs
* PCB design tools (Altium preferred) .
