Global Procurement Strategist
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Global Procurement team as a key player in shaping the future of procurement.
This dynamic role combines strategic thinking, innovation, and collaboration on a global scale. As a Global Procurement Strategist, you will be responsible for driving sourcing initiatives, developing new product concepts, and delivering tangible results that meet the needs of our customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with business partners and suppliers to design go-to-market strategies for critical corporate and IT spend categories.
* Build and grow relationships with key suppliers, selecting those with high potential and ability to create value for our organization.
* Analyze market trends and stakeholder requirements to define the best approach for taking spend to market.
* Develop and manage global sourcing optimizations across various departments, focusing on qualitative and quantitative improvements.
* Create and lead supplier segmentation and relationship management (SRM) initiatives, fostering long-term partnerships and respect for suppliers.
Requirements:
* University degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or computer sciences.
* 10+ years of strong sourcing experience, including at least 3 years in a significant global Corporate Service and IT sourcing role at a director level in FMCG or equivalent industries.
* Demonstrated analytical skills, data-driven decision making, and ability to adjust plans based on insights amid ambiguity, complexity, and uncertainty.
* Strong organizational skills, able to work autonomously, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Proactive, attention to details, and commitment to deliver work quality.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, comfortable with stakeholder management in a matrix organization.
* Perfect command of English (spoken and written). Fluency in other languages, such as Italian and French, would be advantageous.
