Overview
For our client based in Corsier-sur-Vevey, we are currently looking for a Warehouse Specialist for an 8-month assignment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical part of pharmaceutical operations while driving continuous improvement across the warehouse.
Responsibilities
* Goods Reception : Verify accuracy of incoming shipments, conduct inspections, and document discrepancies or damage.
* Sampling : Perform material sampling to meet quality standards and maintain traceable records.
* Storage Management : Organize raw material storage, optimize space, and enhance inventory control systems.
* Order Picking : Accurately pick and transfer materials to Labs and Production areas, ensuring order completeness.
* Shipping & Logistics : Prepare and pack shipments in compliance with regulations, coordinating with carriers for timely delivery.
* Waste Management : Oversee waste disposal and recycling, focusing on reducing waste and improving sustainability practices.
Safety, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement
* Adhere to all safety protocols, maintaining a culture of safety across the warehouse and promoting improvements in safety practices where applicable.
* Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and compliant with GMP standards while identifying opportunities for improvement in the workspace’s safety and efficiency.
* Manage all documentation in Cara and ensure accurate record-keeping, implementing process improvements for better documentation flow and compliance tracking.
Your profile
* Federal diploma in logistics or equivalent
* Strong experience in warehouse operations, logistics, and quality control with a focus on process improvement.
* Proactive approach to optimizing workflows, reducing waste, and enhancing efficiency.
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and documentation.
